  • The Dilophosaurus is a playable class in Primal Carnage and Primal Carnage: Extinction. Armed with a venomous bite and projectile spit, it can blind enemies and kill them with repeated doses of venom.

    Summary[]

Dilophosaurus is an average sized dinosaur you will encounter on the island. They are slow, brightly coloured and easily killed; however, do not underestimate these creatures, as they are also highly venomous. In addition, they have the ability to spit their poisonous concoction over large distances. The venom of Dilophosaurus has the ability to blind foes, temporarily disorientating them while it approaches and injects venom into the bloodstream through piercing bites. Due to this they are deemed very dangerous.

Dilophosaurus by nature is not venomous; unfortunately for those concerned the animals have been altered to induce this behaviour. The horrific dangers aside, it is scientifically astonishing that the species has survived in the wild for this amount of time with these alterations.

    Keep your eyes open.

    Abilities[]

    DiloAbb

Venomous Bite: A Dilophosaurus bite injects venom into its victim’s bloodstream, causing painful disruptions to the cardio-vascular system that drains health; repeated exposure to this poison can be fatal.

Venom Spray: Dilophosaurus has the ability to either spit in a concentrated ball of purple-glowing venom over a moderate distance or in a wider spray covering a larger area. The spit drains stamina on contact and causes temporary blindness if it comes in contact with the eyes.

Stamina Regeneration: The Dilophosaurus convulses its body, letting out a high pitched screech that expels built-up waste gas. This allows it to fully regenerate its stamina, allowing it to spit more venom on enemy players or make a quick getaway.

    Strategies[]

    • Never charge headlong into a large group, as you will die quickly. Stay back or under the cover of vegetation and spit to split up the group.
    • It is easier for the Dilo to take on a lone human than a group. Blind the human and then bite them repeatedly, circling them so it makes it harder for them to hit you.
